In the early morning hours of a Tuesday in February 2021, the quiet of a north St. Louis neighborhood was shattered by the sound of gunfire. Responding to the call just before 2 a.m., police arrived in the 4700 block of Wren Avenue to find a man lying wounded. The victim was identified as 30-year-old Leslie Moore, a resident of the same street, who lived just a couple of blocks away in the 4900 block.
