On the evening of November 25, 2020, the night before Thanksgiving, a violent incident occurred in the Downtown West neighborhood of St. Louis, Missouri. Deshuan Jackson, a 19-year-old male resident of the city, was in the 1400 block of 19th Street, the same block where he lived. Just before 6:00 p.m., shots were fired in the area, drawing the attention of local law enforcement.
