Sequoia Whitfield, a 19-year-old from Saint Louis, Missouri, tragically lost his life on August 12, 2020. Sequoia was a recent high school graduate from Vashon High School, where he was actively involved in the school's art education partnership with the Contemporary Art Museum St. Louis. He was remembered as a kind and hard-working young man who enjoyed expressing himself creatively.
