On August 12, 2020, Victrail Mora, a 14-year-old boy from Saint Louis, Missouri, was tragically shot and killed. The incident occurred in the 2800 block of Gamble Avenue, near Gamble Park in the Carr Square neighborhood. Officers responded to a call reporting a shooting and found Victrail Mora near the curb, suffering from a gunshot wound.
