On the evening of July 2, 2020, a verbal exchange at a Conoco gas station at 35th and Prospect Avenue in Kansas City, Missouri, ended in the death of 26-year-old Pierre Calvin Hill-Williams. The Black male was fatally wounded by a gunshot to the back of his head. The entire incident was captured on the gas station's surveillance video.
