In the summer of 2020, a young woman's life was tragically cut short in the Penrose neighborhood of Saint Louis, Missouri. Carmen Pawnell, a 20-year-old female, was shot and killed on the evening of June 29th. The incident, which unfolded at a residence on Carter Avenue, was the culmination of a domestic dispute that turned deadly.
