On the evening of February 12, 2019, law enforcement officers in Kansas City, Missouri, were dispatched to the 2100 block of Fifth Street following reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, emergency responders discovered a victim suffering from critical injuries sustained during the violent encounter. The individual was immediately transported to a local hospital for urgent medical care, but despite the efforts of medical personnel, she later succumbed to her wounds.
