In the early morning hours of September 13, 2018, the quiet of a north St. Louis County neighborhood was shattered by violence. Isaac Patterson, a 69-year-old male, was fatally shot inside his residence in the 4300 block of Edgewood Boulevard in the Goodfellow Terrace neighborhood. The tragic event unfolded shortly before 1 a.m. when a masked individual forcibly entered his home by kicking in the front door.
At the time of the home invasion, Patterson was on the stairway inside his house.
