On the night of July 9, 2018, tragedy struck in the Fairground neighborhood of St. Louis, Missouri, when 41-year-old Corey Cole was found suffering from a fatal gunshot wound. A Black male, Cole was discovered by authorities around 9:00 p.m. lying in a parking lot situated behind an apartment complex on the 3200 block of Bailey Avenue.
