On May 2, 2018, 14-year-old male Oscar Johnson III was fatally shot inside a residence in St. Louis, Missouri. The incident occurred in the evening at a home located in North St. Louis near the Fountain Park neighborhood. Oscar, known affectionately as 'O.J.' by friends and family, was found lying in a hallway with a gunshot wound to the chest. Emergency responders transported him to a local hospital where medical personnel attempted to save his life, but he succumbed to his injuries.
