In the Walnut Park West neighborhood of St. Louis, the day after Christmas in 2017 brought a tragic end to the life of 15-year-old Lashon Sesson, a Black male. On December 27th, Lashon was found with a fatal gunshot wound. He was rushed to a local hospital, but his injuries proved too severe, and he was pronounced dead.
