On a summer evening in St. Louis, what began as a Fourth of July in 2017 ended in tragedy for 24-year-old Bobby Slack. Just a short time after leaving his mother's home in north St. Louis, the young man was discovered shot and killed. He was found in the driver's seat of a car on the 1600 block of Cole Street.
