On the evening of June 5, 2017, a 35-year-old male named Shelly Hampton was fatally shot in the North St. Louis neighborhood of Missouri. Police officers responded to a call at approximately 6:15 p.m. regarding a shooting in the 8900 block of Riverview Boulevard. Upon arrival at the scene, first responders discovered Hampton suffering from a gunshot wound to the neck. Despite emergency efforts, he was pronounced dead at the location.
