In the early morning hours of October 30, 2016, a dispute inside a Kansas City nightclub tragically spilled out into the parking lot, resulting in the death of 33-year-old Andres Garcia-Jimenez. The Hispanic/Latino man was found by police in the 1600 block of Universal Avenue after they responded to a call about shots being fired. Garcia-Jimenez showed no signs of life and was pronounced dead a short time later.
