In a tragic incident that unfolded in St. Louis, Missouri, 23-year-old Lamont Robinson lost his life in a shooting near Fairground Park. On the afternoon of March 7, 2016, at approximately 3:10 p.m., Robinson was driving a vehicle near the intersection of Whittier Street and Labadie Avenue when he was fatally wounded. The car, also occupied by a 22-year-old woman and a 3-year-old child, crashed into a fence following the shooting.
