On December 6, 2015, 27-year-old male Marlon D. Hill was involved in a fatal incident at a residence in the 2200 block of East 85th Street in Kansas City, Missouri. The sequence of events began while Hill was inside the home of his girlfriend. A visitor, identified as Brandon M. Johnson, arrived at the residence. At some point during the visit, a dispute arose between Hill and his girlfriend, prompting the two to step outside the house to continue their argument.
