On the evening of April 12, 2015, violence erupted in a residential neighborhood of Kansas City, Missouri, claiming the life of a 25-year-old Black male named Raymond Lee Gordon. Officers from the Kansas City Police Department were dispatched to the 1500 block of East 77th Terrace after receiving reports of gunshots fired in the area.
