On December 6, 2013, police officers in Kansas City, Missouri, were dispatched to a residence in the 2500 block of Quincy Avenue following reports of gunfire late in the evening. Upon arrival, they discovered the lifeless body of 33-year-old Eric R. Harrell, a male victim who had suffered fatal gunshot wounds to his abdomen, leg, and head.
