On a tragic Wednesday evening in Capitol Heights, Maryland, the life of 34-year-old Lomax McIntyre, a Black/African American male, was cut short by gunfire. The fatal events of December 14, 2022, began to unfold at approximately 9:10 p.m. in a parking lot located in the 6700 block of Walker Mill Road. It was there that McIntyre was shot.
