In the late morning of Sunday, September 25, 2022, the life of 22-year-old Maliq Lamar Hilton, a Black/African American male from Halethorpe, Maryland, was tragically cut short. Baltimore County Police officers from the Wilkens precinct were dispatched to the unit block of Birdsnest Court in Lansdowne shortly before noon following reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, they discovered Hilton suffering from a gunshot wound.
