In the early morning hours of September 13, 2022, Lawrence Green III, a 30-year-old Black male, was found shot in the Baltimore Highlands area. The incident occurred shortly after 7:30 a.m. on North Conkling Street. When police arrived, they discovered Mr. Green with a gunshot wound to his head and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
