On the evening of August 24, 2022, the life of Michael Daye, a 33-year-old Black man, was tragically cut short in Baltimore, Maryland. At approximately 10:25 p.m., the sound of gunfire prompted a shot spotter alert in the 3300 block of Greenmount Avenue. Responding patrol officers discovered Mr. Daye at the scene, suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.
