In the late hours of a summer night in Baltimore, tragedy struck, leaving a family heartbroken and a community searching for answers. On August 13, 2022, 34-year-old Marcus Anthony Roberts, a Black male, was found suffering from gunshot wounds in the 1200 block of West Lombard Street. The call reporting the shooting came in around 11:31 p.m., and upon their arrival, police officers discovered the grim scene. Medics were unable to save him and pronounced him dead at the location.
