A 31-year-old man, Shawn Armstrong, was fatally shot in Baltimore, Maryland, on the evening of Saturday, September 16, 2017. The shooting occurred around 5:32 p.m. in the 2700 block of Boarman Avenue in the city's Northwest district.
Officers who responded to the scene discovered Armstrong with gunshot wounds. He was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead. At the time, his death marked one of several homicides that occurred in Baltimore over that weekend.
