In the summer of 2022, a young man's life was abruptly cut short on a street in Baltimore, Maryland. On the afternoon of August 5th, at about 5:03 p.m., police responded to a report of a shooting in the 3900 block of West Belvedere Avenue. There they found 25-year-old Raquan A. Wyatt suffering from gunshot wounds. He was a Black male. Paramedics arrived and attempted to save his life, but his injuries were too severe, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
