On a summer afternoon in Baltimore, tragedy struck the Oliver neighborhood. On July 25, 2022, 41-year-old Kelvin Jackson was shot and killed in the 1500 block of East Lanvale Street. The Baltimore Police Department responded to the scene around 2:25 p.m. to find Jackson suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Despite the immediate response and life-saving efforts by Baltimore City medics, he was pronounced deceased at the scene.
