On a summer evening in Baltimore, the life of a young man was cut short by violence. Dwight Douglas III, a 29-year-old Black male, was fatally shot on July 16, 2022. The incident occurred around 5:50 p.m. in the 6200 block of Fortview Way, located in the O'Donnell Heights neighborhood of Southeast Baltimore. When police officers arrived at the scene, they discovered Douglas suffering from gunshot wounds.
