James E. Blue III, a 43-year-old male, was fatally shot on January 25, 2022, in Baltimore, Maryland. At the time of his death, Blue, an Amtrak conductor, was waiting in his vehicle for a refrigerator to be delivered to a property he was renovating on Walker Avenue. He was on the phone with his son, who was away at college, when the shooting occurred. His son later recounted hearing approximately 20 shots over the phone.
