In the Highlandtown neighborhood of Baltimore, a joyous Christmas evening in 2021 was shattered by an act of violence that claimed the life of 20-year-old Jose Marvin Castron Morales. On December 25th, at approximately 8:09 p.m., the sound of gunfire echoed on the 3300 block of East Baltimore Street, leaving the young man with fatal injuries.
When police arrived at the scene, they found Mr. Morales suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite the immediate response, his life could not be saved.
