In the summer of 2021, a fatal encounter over a stolen scooter ended the life of 64-year-old Vaseles Nettles in Baltimore, Maryland. On the evening of Monday, July 19, 2021, Nettles attempted to retrieve his scooter that had been taken from him. This confrontation, however, turned deadly.
