In the summer of 2021, the life of 21-year-old Jayvon Ghim, a Black male from Baltimore, Maryland, was cut short by violence. Having grown up in the northeastern part of the city, Ghim was reportedly attempting to redirect his life's path after a four-year prison sentence for armed robbery, theft, and assault.
