In the cold of a Baltimore winter, the search for a young man who had vanished weeks earlier came to a somber end. Damen Kendall Fortson, a 22-year-old Black male, was found deceased on January 13, 2021, inside a vehicle on the 3900 block of Pinkney Road. An investigation would later confirm that he had sustained a fatal gunshot wound.
