On a cold December night in 2020, a gathering at a business in Landover, Maryland, turned into a scene of tragedy. Among those present was 22-year-old Leon Frazier of Washington, D.C. Gunfire erupted at the event on Old Ardmore Road on the night of Saturday, December 12, 2020, forever altering the lives of many. When police responded to the shooting at approximately 11:30 p.m., they found a chaotic scene with multiple victims. Leon Frazier was pronounced dead at the scene.
