In the winter of 2020, a burst of gunfire shattered the evening calm in a Baltimore neighborhood, leaving a family devastated and a community searching for answers. On December 9th, in the 500 block of Pennsylvania Avenue, 33-year-old Justin Fauntleroy, a Black male, was shot. The call came in at approximately 8:07 p.m., and first responders arrived to a grim scene. Fauntleroy was grievously wounded but still clinging to life.
