On a Tuesday night, November 3, 2020, in Waldorf, Maryland, 17-year-old Daniel McClellan-Givens was fatally shot in a parking lot. The incident occurred around 11 p.m. in the 2000 block of Amber Leaf Place. After being shot, McClellan-Givens ran to a nearby apartment to seek help, from where he was transported to a hospital and subsequently pronounced deceased.
