In the spring of 2020, a verbal dispute tragically escalated, leading to the death of 22-year-old Jose Romero-Salgado. On the evening of May 2nd, patrol officers responded to a call for a shooting in the 5200 block of Carswell Avenue in Camp Springs, Maryland. Upon arrival, they discovered Romero-Salgado outside, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead a short time later.
