In the late evening of January 30, 2020, Richard L. Walker, a 58-year-old Black male, was fatally shot in the Southeastern district of Baltimore. The incident occurred around 10:10 p.m. at 300 Spring Court, a location situated within the Perkins Homes public housing complex.
Officers responding to reports of a shooting found Mr. Walker with gunshot wounds. He was rushed to a local hospital's Shock Trauma Center, but his injuries proved to be fatal, and he was pronounced dead.
