In the afternoon hours of October 27, 2019, a burst of violence shattered the day in the 6100 block of Boston Street in Baltimore, Maryland, leaving a family and community to grapple with a tragic loss. It was there, at approximately 4:51 p.m., that 30-year-old Kris McCoy, a male resident of the city, was shot. First responders arrived at the scene to find McCoy grievously wounded. He was quickly transported by ambulance to Johns Hopkins Bayview Hospital in a desperate attempt to save his life.
