In the waning hours of a December day in Baltimore, tragedy befell William Barnes, a 53-year-old man whose life was cut short by gunfire. On the evening of Friday, December 21, 2018, Barnes was in the 2300 block of Healthful Lane in Southwest Baltimore when he was shot.
