In the early evening of December 3, 2018, a tragedy unfolded in a Fort Washington, Maryland shopping center parking lot that cut short the life of a young man. Kinard Adams, a 24-year-old male from Oxon Hill, was found lying in the parking lot of a strip mall located in the 8500 block of Allentown Road with multiple gunshot wounds.
