In the winter of 2018, the Highlandtown neighborhood of Baltimore was the scene of a violent crime that claimed the life of Andreas Tamaris, a 47-year-old white male. On the evening of February 19th, what should have been a routine visit to the His & Her Perfection Barbershop on Eastern Avenue turned into a fatal encounter. Two men, their faces obscured by masks, burst into the establishment and without warning, unleashed a hail of gunfire.
