In the winter of 2018, a young man’s life was cut short in a burst of violence on a Baltimore street. Darren McCallum, a 24-year-old male, was fatally shot on the evening of Thursday, January 25, 2018. The incident occurred in the 1600 block of Cliftview Avenue, a residential street in the eastern part of the city.
