In the autumn of 2017, the life of Kendel Lecompte, a 27-year-old Black/African American man, was tragically cut short on the streets of Baltimore, Maryland. On Saturday, October 21, 2017, Lecompte was shot in the Reservoir Hill neighborhood. The incident occurred on the 1000 block of W. North Avenue.
