In the evening hours of September 2, 2017, the life of Antoine Georgie Rich, a 46-year-old Black male, was abruptly ended in a hail of gunfire. The fatal encounter took place at approximately 9:15 p.m. in the 3400 block of Harmony Court in the Canton neighborhood of Baltimore, Maryland. First responders found Rich with multiple gunshot wounds to his head and torso. He was rushed to the Maryland Shock Trauma Center, where he ultimately succumbed to his injuries.
