In the spring of 2017, a 30-year-old Black male named Troy Horton Jr. was fatally shot in Baltimore, Maryland. On the evening of May 29th, police responded to a call in the 1700 block of Ruxton Avenue. Upon arrival, they discovered Horton with gunshot wounds. He was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead. The incident marked another life lost to gun violence in the city.
