In the early hours of a Wednesday morning in March 2017, the life of 24-year-old Montell Telly Pridgett was cut short on Pennsylvania Avenue in Baltimore, Maryland. Pridgett, a male, was a promising boxer who trained at Umar Boxing, where a sign poignantly reads 'Put the guns down... Put the gloves up.'
