In the early morning hours of November 1, 2016, the life of 24-year-old Cristian Garcia-Rodriguez, a male resident of Drexel Street, was tragically cut short in the Lewisdale neighborhood of Hyattsville, Maryland. At approximately 12:50 a.m., Prince George's County Police responded to a report of a shooting in the 6700 block of 20th Avenue. Upon arrival, officers discovered Garcia-Rodriguez outside, suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
