In the early morning hours of April 1, 2016, Rondell Street, a 27-year-old Black man, was at the Ace Lounge in East Baltimore. As he was in the rear yard of the lounge at approximately 3:46 a.m., an unidentified man approached him in an attempt to rob him. During the confrontation, the assailant shot Street before fleeing the scene.
