In the early morning hours of April 2, 2026, 15-year-old Prince Washington was in his bedroom in Fort Worth, Texas, talking to his girlfriend on the phone. Dozens of rounds were fired into his family's home on Glenbrook Lane from the outside. Struck by the gunfire, Prince stumbled out of his room, telling his father, "Dad, I just got hit," before collapsing. He was rushed to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
