Kevon Phillips was a 24-year-old Black male from Baltimore, Maryland, and on Tuesday afternoon, March 22, 2016, his life ended in a burst of gunfire on the city’s east side. Police were called to the area of North Bouldin Street and Pulaski Highway at about 4 p.m., where they found him wounded by multiple gunshots. Medics rushed him to Johns Hopkins, but the injuries were too severe, and he was pronounced dead at the hospital.
